2. Subscribing and cancellations

2.1 You are deemed to obtain a subscription by completing our online sign up process. As part of this process you will be given the opportunity to check your subscription and to correct any errors.
2.2 Our acceptance of your subscription takes place when we process your subscription. We will send you a confirmation by email.
2.3 If you wish to cancel your subscription you can notify us using the relevant button on our website or by email to cancellations@aptem.co.uk.
2.4 The provisions of this clause 2 do not affect your statutory rights.

3.1 You are permitted to print and download extracts from this Website for your own use on the following basis:

(b) no graphics on this Website are used separately from accompanying text; and
(c) any of our copyright and trade mark notices and this permission notice appear in all copies.

7. Registration

7.1 To register with aptem.co.uk you must be over sixteen years of age.
7.2 Each registration is for a single user only. We do not permit you to share your user name and password with any other person nor with multiple users on a network nor transfer your subscription to a third party.
7.3 Responsibility for the security of any passwords issued rests with you and if you know or suspect that someone else knows your password, you should contact us immediately.
7.4 We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these terms of use.

10. Complaints procedure

Aptem Limited is committed to providing quality products and services and working in an open and accountable way that builds the trust and respect of all our customers. One of the ways in which we can continue to improve our products and services is by listening and responding to the views of our customers. This includes responding positively to complaints and putting any mistakes right. 

If you have a complaint, please send an email to complaints@aptem.co.uk

Once we receive your complaint:

(a) We will acknowledge your email within 2 working days of receipt to let you know the name of the person who will be dealing with your complaint and if we need any further information.

(b) Once all the information needed to resolve your complaint has been received, we will respond to you within 10 working days.

(c) If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact our COO Christine Weddell by sending an email to complaints@aptem.co.uk to ask for your complaint and the response to be reviewed. You can expect your email to be acknowledged within 10 working days of receipt and a response provided within 15 working days.


11. Governing law and jurisdiction

11.1 These terms of use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Disputes arising in connection with these terms of use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
11.2 We do not warrant that materials on the Website are appropriate or available for use outside the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. It is prohibited to access the Website from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful. If you access this Website from locations outside the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland, you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for compliance with local laws.

12.2 If any provision of these terms of use is found by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions which shall continue to have full force and effect.
