Aptem’s Higher Education Forum – October 2022

delegates at Aptem's HE forum October 2022

Aptem members have just enjoyed our first face to face Higher Education Forum since COVID. It took place at the Studios in Birmingham on 11th October.

30 delegates from 18 of our university customers joined the Aptem team to discuss topical issues for the day.

During the day, there were roundtable discussions. Participants shared the current challenges facing universities delivering degree apprenticeships. They shared the priority requirements that Aptem can help with.

Aptem’s new Head of Product, Keji Adedeji presented to the group. The talk outlined some of the likely roadmap developments that will specifically meet those priorities.

During the day, we also we heard from David Lockhart-Hawkins, strategic consultant in apprenticeship compliance and implementation. David provided expert advice and led discussions around the latest ESFA funding rules and guidance.

Alex Morrison from Buckinghamshire New University also delivered a talk. He kindly shared how the University uses ODATA and Tableau to create additional learner monitoring reports from Aptem.

Feedback from our customers was very positive. They highlighted the benefits of meeting face to face once again. Attendees were able to share common challenges and best practice, and of course network with colleagues from the sector. We look forward to the next Higher Education Forum and hope that all our University customers will join us once again.
