University Ofsted preparation webinar 2: Getting off to a good start – Initial Assessment and starting points

The second webinar in the FIN series, brought to you in partnership with Aptem, led by Karen Boffey and Peter Stacey.

This webinar will look at getting the learner journey right from the very beginning of their apprenticeship training programme. Following on from what should be an effective recruitment process, the content of this session will focus on how the University identifies the learners’ starting points across a range of occupational criteria linked to developing knowledge, skills and behaviours that are essential to successfully complete their training.

This session will go further to highlight other areas of important development where the learner may require support to help them overcome any other barriers to fulfilling their full potential, and how the evidence and impact of this work can be presented at a subsequent Ofsted inspection.
