Here, Lydia Czabaniuk, Head of Compliance, and Roy Morden, Head of IT, share why they chose Aptem as their apprenticeship management platform and what they’ve found since making the switch.
What was your main reason for switching to Aptem?
Lydia: Our main reason for switching to Aptem was that we had a lot of feedback from learners and employers that there were lots of systems for them to manage all in different places. So we found that Aptem was a perfect solution. Everything’s in one place, and it’s much easier for them to access and complete their learner journey.
Roy: Our main thinking of switching to Aptem was born of frustrations with our current provider and the adherence to their roadmap and delivering on what they actually say they’re going to do.
What are some of the benefits you expect to see from Aptem?
Roy: Some of the benefits that we foresee in Aptem is the ability for it to replace other systems as well as our learning management system. So we’re looking at the capabilities of its CRM and to use it as a delivery module for our online learning.
Lydia: One of the main benefits we’re hoping to get from switching to Aptem is the onboarding wizard and how we can create a streamlined process for our learners to complete their onboarding onto one of our programs in one simple process.
How have you found Aptem’s implementation process so far?
Lydia: The implementation process so far has been great. We’ve had so much support from Aptem, and our implementation consultant has been fantastic.
Roy: The implementation team have been incredible. We’ve been handheld throughout the whole process, and training is still ongoing even as we speak.
How are you finding aSpire: Aptem’s customer conference?
Roy: The Aspire conference has been awesome. We’ve spent most of our time actually networking on the table that I’m sat, and some of the ideas that have floated across from the other apprenticeship providers that are here, we’re definitely going to take back and implement.
Lydia: The aSpire conference so far has been fantastic. It’s super insightful hearing from lots of different attendees, finding out best practice, and lots of different methods of working.
Roy: There’s four of us here at the conference, and we’ve split ourselves across all of the delivery that’s going on this afternoon. And we’re going to meet up tomorrow to have a discussion on how we can best implement all of the different things that we’ve gathered from the conference.
